This multi-year position is a terrific opportunity for a seasoned Java Developer to support a critical, high-profile effort. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be performing the following responsibilities: List Duties Provide hands-on leadership to a technical project team in which matrixed resources perform both Oamp;M and software enhancement development. Be the primary point of contact with customer and stakeholders. Manage and optimize team communication to the customers customers and system end users. Closely oversee project finances, ensuring that revenue and profit goals are met. Communicate related issues to senior management early, preventing surprises. Ensure contractual compliance of all work performed. Communicate risks to both program and procurement customers in a timely manner to ensure visibility and mitigation. Ensure exceptional quality of system releases. Oversee and optimize quality management to ensure exceptional quality levels of all releases. Support proposal efforts including writing and staffing estimates. Required Skills Experience managing mission critical, high visibility systems supported by matrixed technical resources. Experience managing several FFP and Tamp;M tasks concurrently. Experience managing subcontractors in key positions across multiple tasks. Project financial and contractual management. Web Application background (has done some web applications development previously). Ability to identify and mitigate project technical and customer satisfaction risks. Exceptional diplomatic skills and the ability to deliver consistent, exceptional customer satisfaction and simultaneously protect the interests of the company. Exceptional written and verbal English skills. Desired Skills PMP and CSM certifications. Prior experience with CA Gen. Prior experience with Java. Experience supporting proposal efforts. Education and Years of Experience Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and 10-12 years of related experience.
