Pragmatics, Inc. is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to support the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) applications development environment. As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will perform the following tasks: Establish complex operational databases, software configuration control and system interfaces for computer systems assigned. Maintain file servers, network access. Create, test and debug scripts, and user interface code. Document, analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance. Prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests. Collect and disseminate metrics about service performance. Provide system architecture support and Tier III troubleshooting of systems. Assist task lead in managing applications development projects. REQUIRED SKILLS: Technical project management experience Install, Configure, and Operate Microsoft 2008 and 2012 Server Operating Systems Install, Configure, and Operate Microsoft 2008 and 2008 SQL Server Knowledge and configuration of Active Directory (Administration and Groups) Kerberos Authentication VMware 5.X Administration IIS 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 Scan Applications with ACAS Configuration Control Skills DoD and Army IA policy knowledge Security+ CE Certification Troubleshooting Microsoft Server, SQL, and IIS issues 3rd Party application install and integration testing DESIRED SKILLS: MCITP 2008 (or 2012) Server Administrator Certification 2008 (or 2012) SQL Server Certification SharePoint Web Part Installation Experience GPO knowledge and troubleshooting Lean Six Sigma or Lean Knowledge education and years of experience Requires Bachelors degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience. clearance Top Secret company overview Join an established and reliable mid-tier government contractor with a reputation for excellence.
