  ERMis seeking anEnvironmental Compliance SeniorEngineerto join our growing Performance amp; Assurance practice team inthe San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, you will provide EHS technical assistance to ERM clients, manage EHS program-related projects, conduct EHS audits, and manage EHS audit programs. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging EHS management projects for large global clients.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and assure quality standards on project deliverables.
Perform environmental compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Develop, manage, and implement EHS management systems and programs for corporate clients.
Direct projects in your areas of EHS expertise (e.g., storm water pollution prevention, hazardous waste management, Process Safety Management, Occupational Hygiene, Construction safety).
Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business to grow the Performance amp; Assurance practice in Northern California.
Prepare technical proposals and participate in business development with existing clients and identified leads.
Appropriately delegate project assignments to project teams and mentor junior staff.
Build strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees.


REQUIREMENTS:

BS or MS Degree in Engineering: Environmental, Chemical or Civil.
10+ years ofenvironmental complianceexperience in consulting and industrial environment.
California P.E. registration preferred.
Familiarity with federal and California state environmental regulations.
Demonstrate client service skills, including ability to support environmental compliance projects at a client site.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; experience writing comprehensive technical reports.
Experience maintaining corporate management standards (either as a consultant or an internal compliance officer).
Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Local candidates preferred.
