We are currently recruiting for an experienced construction Foreman to join our growing Dallas Operations Team located in Fort Worth, TX. Our Foreman are skilled in concrete repair, masonry, waterproofing and protection and related repair processes in the civil and industrial environment. As a Foreman for STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES / VSL,you will be responsible for supervising and providing leadership for crews of various sizes on civil and industrial construction repair projects. Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered: 7+ years of experience in general construction in an industrial setting with at least 2 of those years in a field leadership role supervising crews ranging from 6-20 people. Experience supervising construction crews on projects involving concrete, to include experience with forms, concrete placement, and shoring post tensioning. Demonstrated ability to plan and schedule a job utilizing Microsoft Office programs Strong leadership skills to effectively train, mentor and motivate others as well as successfully manage projects in the field. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, crews, and project teams Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality oversight for crews Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Outlook email) and basic construction math skills This position will require approximately 25% overnight travel Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish/English will be given preference.
