We currently have the following position available:



Learning andDevelopment Specialist
Assesses supervisor and non-exempt associate training and developmental needs. Develops required training in partnership with Home Office Learning and Development and D/C Training Manager. Implements and evaluates Distribution Center training programs for D/C Supervisors and non-exempt associates. Follows up on training provided and evaluates results for effectiveness.Ensures compliance to Training Specialist walkthrough.

Learning and Development Specialist


Responsibilities:

Delivers, monitors, coaches and guides technical and non-technical training for Distribution Center Supervisors and non-exempt associates. Provides coaching, facilitates discussions and makes recommendations for non-exempt associates and D/C Supervisors developmental needs.
Consults with coach trainers, D/C Supervisors and associates on the floor to follow up on operational issues, such as work methods, productivity and new hire follow-up.
Assesses training and developmental needs. Makes recommendations on training strategies for non-exempt associates. Partners with Home Office Learning and Development to modify, design and develop training programs and materials.
Conducts training sessions and orientations. Ensures all D/C Supervisor and non-exempt associate training programs are conducted on a timely basis. Provides follow up to maintain quality and consistency to the training process.
Consults with D/C Training Manager and D/C Human Resources Manager on a regular basis to assess effectiveness of current training programs used.
Administers safety training for the Distribution Center to maintain safety programs that meet OSHA and Company guidelines.
Participates in special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent job experience.
Strong knowledge and skill in training techniques.
Knowledge of DC operations and procedures.
Good presentation and communications skills.
Knowledge of needs analysis, design, implementation and evaluation skills.
Adult Learning Theories.
2-4 years experience.
1 year training experience and/or 2+ years DC supervisor experience.
